Hi all

I suppose a nice way to network and meet new Bromeliad lovers near you is to state where you live.
Many of our members are from the U.S.A or Australia, both massive countries. So if you from Perth or L.A let us know.

I'm in Waimanalo, windward O'ahu, Hawaii.

Here's a rather funky little musical tour of my zipcode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFlft1IkmCQ

And I am in Plattekloof Glen, near Cape Town, South Africa.  Close enough to our famous Table Mountain so I can see it every day in all its different moods from my upstairs bathroom.

Hi all

Thanks for adding to this thread!

Bennie; wow you live in a very dry area, must be a challenge growing all the tropical goodies!?

I did spend a bit of time in B-W a few years back, it was cooking and then out of the blue a thunderstorm blew in and it was a pleasure standing in the rain!

Cheers all

I live in the North Island of New Zealand east coast right on the sea.. Matata is a small village with about 5 hundred people. The region is called the Bay of plenty. The closes towns are Whakatane and Tauranga. This might help if you are looking on a map.

We live in Oceanside, between LA and San Diego, about 5 miles inland where the ocean influence ends. Perfect weather since I tend to melt above 75°F. and freeze below 50°F.
