Hi all, here's a Neoregelia we made in 2010, that has selected by my Wife's Mother to celebrate her 90th birthday, registration is pending under the name, Jags Empress Minchoo. (minchoo is her Chinese name)
The cross is (johannis x corrreia-araujoi) x 'Little dazzler'

Hi everyone.

John - That's a nice looking plant. these colours have always been my favourites ever since I bought my first Neo. 'Gold Fever' - I think those colours are a match made in heaven.

I especially like the unusual pale powder blue flowers - Very attractive.

I imagine at 90 years of age your wife's Mother would be the family "matriarch" and what better way to honour her than the name "Empress Minchoo".

Well done and thanks for sharing.

All the best, Nev

Thanks Nev, she was given images of 4 plants and this was her pick. Plant named by my wife's brother.
Red and Gold are her favourite colours so can see why this was her choice.
