Hi all, My apologies for not being in this site for a while. I have been recovering in hospital after a severe motorcycle accident in which I broke my pelvis. Right on the pubic join it has separated about 12 cm. After the op, in which a metal frame was placed over my hips and two pins inserted into each of my hip bone, as well as a 10 cm pin inserted into my back, I spent 7 weeks on my back recovering.

A week ago I started walking again and arrived at home 2 days ago.

Thanks to Nev for the Jokes he sent to me via email and the support in well wishes. It was very much appreciated, although it was painful to laugh.

Now at home I can once again catch up on what I missed.

Best wishes,

Conrad!

Glad to hear your at home Conrad and on your way to recovery. Must have been a terrible experience. We certainly missed your comments and views here, there had been many good posts. My wife and I wish you a speedy recovery, we all on the forum need to see you out gardening again soon.

PS , No more motor bike rides!

Best Regards John +Agatha

Hi everyone.

Conrad - I have to agree, NO MORE MOTOR BIKES! Much better to have four wheels beneath you and some protection around you.

It's great to see you home again, and now as you start the long journey back to full speed, you have a lot of posts to keep you entertained.

All the best, Nev.
