Hi all, you got say, 'what are the odds', from 2000 or round about grown seedlings from we don't know how many seed pods, we got 3 plants selected out with well rumbled up genes from what ever vriesea were about at that time in flower. Down to 1 plant named Angela which has turned out to be a winner for hybridizing with. Its worth typing in Vriesea Angela in the BCR and just looking through all the nice creations.

Geoff thanks for your input. At least the mother plant part has been refined to fosteriana as long suspected.
To unravel the pollen parent as its truely a unknown is now never likely to be known like so many of the other bromeliad hybrids from early 80's.
