I have had a problem with getting onto the Bromeliad Cultivar Register as all google links to it are also dead ends. Hopefully the problem will be sorted out soon. There was talk about moving to site to another host on a different operating system. Lets hope it not down for too long!

Hi everyone.

Conrad - As Sunshine says it's back on again now, (at least in Australia anyway). I have found over the years that I have been using that site, it is occasionally down for maintenance work which is a necessary evil with all sites from time to time.

I was once told on another forum by a US member, that with the BSI and the BCR being run by volunteers, maintenance obviously takes longer than if it was run by a hi-tech professional company, so I guess we just have to accept this fact and be grateful that we are able to use it at all.

All the best, Nev.

Hi Everyone.

Guess what? I just went to get onto the BCR and the following message came up again,"Sorry, the BCR is off line at the moment,
we will try to get it up and running as soon as possible!"

It looks like we were a bit hasty telling you it was back on line again Conrad, sorry.

All the best, Nev.

I managed to get onto it this morning. So lets hope it stays up. If not, blame it on the reindeer. LOL.
