Just the other week I got some seed off a very similar looking Hohenbergia. I think it is H. augusta which looks just like the FCBS photos. Allbeit very small ones. Follow the links.

My photos are from Mt Cootha BG. Earlier in flower then in fruit. These are very big plants. Exaggerated by being grown in full shade.

The seeds have germinated and are doing good.

As I was researching for a name, I was thinking blanchetii as well, but I found a name tag a bit of a distance from the plant which said Hohenbergia augusta. A while back the gardeners broke up a massive clump which took up about 3 or 4 square metres into half a dozen smaller clumps. Maybe the label was misplace then.
