Devo, Lisa & Totara Pete have done a great job of posting conference pics so we will just share some of our favourite Vriesea pics. These are mainly from Maloy's hothouse as the lighting was better there. (hope that does not make us off topic!)

I need more Vrieseas! I've never had any problem growing them here in South Florida so I don't know why they aren't more available.

Hi 378, your wish may be about to come true, some of the nz vriesea's have been brought back by those americans that attended the conference and Im sure that very soon you will get hold of some.

Great photos J&A. I was there for over an hour & missed most of these!

It didnt seen that long ago when I bought my first Tasman hybrids. They were all green plants, just slightly different form, & markings.
Andrew Maloy's vriesea have come a long way since then...and just imagine what he has in the pipeline!
