Hi all

The man who has advised, archived, arranged, articulated and appreciated (and annoyed!) everything bromeliad with a slight favouritism for Tillandsia has won the Wall Berg Award of excellence, presented yesterday at the WBC in Orlando. His motto - 'never trust a label', so true, which can be extrapolated to 'it's your responsibility to research and determine if the identification is correct'. He still works tirelessly archiving material, keeping folk honest and helping Geoff on the BCR. Bloody good job, Derek!

Cheers, Pedro

Derek's Da Man! Always quick to lend an ear to any problem thrown his way. Well deserved.

Hi Pedro, good words.  Yep, what an amazing contribution it is from UD!  It's great to see it recognised.

I agree, Derek has been most helpful in a few inquiries I've made to him.
