Dear all,

I am relatively new to bromeliads, specifically Tillandsias and was wondering what would be considered the definitive library for a collector getting started as well as a bit more experienced?

Being an "self-admitted" bibliophile I already have the following titles in my "library":
  • Steens, A. 2003. Bromeliads for the Contemporary Garden
  • Kramer, J. 2011. Bromeliads for Home and Garden
  • Isley, P.T. 2009. Genus Tillandsia: The world's most unusual air plants - 14th Ed
  • Isley, P.T. 1987. Tillandsia: The World's Most Unusual Airplants
  • Isley, P.T. 2010. Tillandsia II: The World's Most Unusual Airplants
  • Padilla, V. 1981. The Colorful Bromeliads - Their Infinite Variety

What am I missing?

Kind regards
Pieter

Ho Gonzer - thanks!

Will certainly look at your suggestions.

BTW Jan Maruska has just notified me of a new shipment of his book that he has available.

Still trying to get "Tillandsia Handbook by Hideo Shimizu" - but so far no luck!

Kind regards
Pieter

Mike, Andy got mine through the SD society. Or you can write Jan directly. If you're into the Diaphoranthemus sub-family of small species then this is THE definitive book. Lotsa other species as well but the little guys are well represented. The photography is second to none.
